PURE ROLEPLAY
RP Quality & Immersion
How to create better scenes, avoid rule breaks, and keep Pure Roleplay fun for everyone.
Staying In Character
- If you’re involved in a scene, stay in character. Don’t drag OOC into voice.
- OOC info cannot be used IC. No Discord intel unless it exists in-game with a believable method.
- If you need to clarify something, keep it brief and don’t derail the scene.
Maintaining Immersion
- Don’t interrupt ongoing roleplay unless you’re involved or brought into it by the original participants.
- Avoid running into scenes just because you see lights, hear shots, or recognize someone.
- Ask yourself: “Would my character realistically be here, right now, for a reason?”
Value of Life & Roleplay Fear
- You’re human. If someone has a gun on you, act like it matters.
- Roleplay fear instead of acting like a god. If you’d fear in real life, you fear here.
- You generally shouldn’t fight back if the force against you is overwhelming (use common sense).
Fail RP Examples
- Talking while dead or ignoring serious injuries.
- Doing things most people would never do without a believable reason.
- Treating every situation like an action movie instead of a story.
Roleplay First, Report Later
- If a rule break happens mid-scene, finish the RP and report it with evidence after.
- Clips should show build-up (your rules mention at least 5 minutes for gov action).
- Reports must be made within 24 hours unless it’s severe (e.g., modding).
