RULES
v1.0 • Last updated 28 Feb 2026
Tip: try keywords like “metagaming”, “cop baiting”, “NOS”.
Quick Reminders
  • Stay IC during scenes.
  • Don’t interrupt other people’s RP.
  • Clip issues and report after.
Basics & Definitions
Key terms used across the server. Knowing these avoids misunderstandings and rule breaks.
  • Keeping In Character (IC): Stay in character while involved in a scene. Use IC comms and keep scenes realistic.
  • OOC (Out of Character): Anything not related to your in-game character (real life, external chats, etc.).
  • Metagaming: Using OOC info to benefit IC actions (e.g., Discord call intel without an in-game reason/prop).
  • Powergaming: Unrealistic actions to benefit yourself or denying others the chance to RP properly.
  • RDM (Random Deathmatch): Killing with no valid reason or without meaningful RP build-up.
  • VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch): Using a vehicle as a weapon (or ramming at speed for no reason) and not RP’ing it.
  • Fail RP: Actions most people would find unthinkable; includes talking while dead.
  • Roleplay Fear: You’re human. Act like you can be hurt/killed — don’t act invincible.
  • Value of Life (VoL): Treat threats realistically. If someone has a gun on you, you should fear/comply like real life.
  • Injury RP: If downed, you may speak, but you must voice and roleplay your injuries.
Conduct & Courtesy
Keep the community safe and enjoyable in and out of character.
  • Common Courtesy: Treat others how you want to be treated. No bullying, personal attacks, or toxic behavior.
  • Racism: Any racism in voice/text is not allowed and results in a permanent ban.
  • Attitude to Staff: Staff are here to help. Being unpleasant or giving attitude can result in punishment.
  • Suicide Roleplay: Any RP involving suicide or similar sensitive themes is not allowed.
Combat, Scenes & Life Rules
Rules that prevent spam killing and keep scenes playable and fair.
  • 30-Minute Rule: After killing/robbing/torturing in a beef/fight, wait 30 minutes before repeating that kind of interaction with the same parties. Official gang wars: 15 minutes.
  • End of Life: Once you’ve been killed and revived/respawned, do not return to the scene if it’s still active.
  • New Life Rule: If you self-revive (hold E), you have no memory of the last 30 minutes of the previous scene. You can remember if revived by EMS or Nancy (EMS local).
  • Maintaining Immersion: Don’t interrupt an ongoing scenario unless you’re involved or brought in by the original members leading the RP.
  • Combat Logging: Disconnecting or forcing a timeout during combat is not allowed.
  • Stream Sniping: Using someone’s stream to track/harm/rob them = 24 hours jail.
  • Aim Assist/Aimbot: Not allowed. If caught/clipped: 1 week ban, no appeal.
Robbery & Hostage Rules
Robberies are not KOS zones — keep it story-driven and reasonable.
  • Robbery Rules: A gun to someone’s head doesn’t mean you can kill them. If they comply, they may not be harmed. If they fight or refuse, they can be harmed.
  • Police in robberies: Police are not kill-on-sight targets; the difference is police may fire the first shot.
  • Random robbing is not allowed. You must have a valid reason (e.g., someone is lippy). Use common sense—avoid broad daylight public robberies with many witnesses.
  • Scamming: Under no circumstances are you allowed to scam another player. Permanent ban if caught.
Law Enforcement & Government
Extra rules to keep police RP fair and realistic for everyone.
  • Cop Baiting: Intentionally harassing law enforcement to cause trouble/get chased is not allowed.
  • Cop Baiting also includes intentionally ramming police cars when you’re not involved in the chase—instant 2 hours jail (example: ramming police cars during a chase you’re not part of).
  • Killing Law Enforcement: Allowed, but must be in a roleplay manner. Proper RP must occur first (e.g., warnings/commands). If officer refuses and you have them at gunpoint/outnumbered or within 1m with a melee, you may kill.
  • Cop Robbing: You may only take Handcuffs, Armor, Pistols & Ammo. No ARs/SMGs/Snipers/Beanbag/Tasers, etc.
  • Hostage Requirement: Minimum of 6 police on duty to take an officer hostage.
Helicopters & Airspace
Safety and realism rules for aircraft.
  • No landing helicopters in the middle of the road. NPAS/Air Ambulance must request MET police to block off the road first.
  • Helicopters cannot be pulled out of public garages (dangerous for public). Police can block off the garage if special permission is granted for safe takeoff/landing.
Whitelisted Jobs & Impersonation
Protect whitelisted roleplay and avoid confusion.
  • Impersonating a Whitelisted Job is not allowed. You may not claim to be a member if you are not currently serving.
  • If you need permission for RP purposes, you MUST get authorization in writing from the whitelist boss and notify a government member.
Exploits, AFK & Economy Abuse
Don’t abuse mechanics or scripts for advantage.
  • Exploitation: Using any in-game exploit to benefit yourself (e.g., emotes to glitch through walls, extinguisher to start robberies).
  • Paycheck Farming: Going AFK to farm paychecks is not allowed. Earn money through gameplay.
Gang / Criminal Rules
Rules to keep gang RP organized and fair.
  • Robbing/Killing: You must choose to rob someone OR kill them — you cannot do both.
  • No Hand Holding: Don’t help other gangs in gunfights. Only information sharing is allowed.
  • Store/Bank Robberies: Max 5 people on scene. Pacific Bank max 7.
  • On-Scene Count: Max 5 in your group for scenes like beefs, etc. (On your claimed turf, everyone in city can get involved.)
  • Green Zones: There are NO green zones.
  • Spray Cleaning Returns: If your sprays are being cleaned and you go down in the gunfight, you may return ONE time to protect your spray.
  • NOS: Allowed for normal driving. Not allowed in PD chases (unfair).
Fear of Life (extra clarification)
Use common sense with lethal threats.
  • You may shoot to defend yourself if a weapon is aimed at you ONLY if your weapon is out first AND there are no more than two people with guns at your head of reasonable force.
  • Use common sense: you wouldn’t start shooting a pistol if two AKs are pointed at your head.
Places of Business
  • No special rules for taking hostages/killing at businesses — but be aware of consequences (owners/workers/witnesses) and the beef it may create.
Reporting & Evidence
How to handle rule breaks without ruining scenes.
  • Roleplay First, Report Later: Finish the scene, then report with evidence (screenshots/videos). Staff will review and handle compensation if needed.
  • Clip Evidence: Government action requires a clip at least 5 minutes long showing the build-up before the incident.
  • Player Reports: Report within 24 hours of the incident. After 24 hours, no action unless severe (e.g., modding).
