Getting Started
Join Pure Roleplay the right way: rules, queue, first day expectations, and how to avoid common mistakes.
Step 1 — Join Discord
- Join Discord and read announcements before you do anything else.
- If you need support, open a ticket in Discord (fastest response).
- If you’re new to RP, ask questions—just keep it respectful and use the right channels.
Step 2 — Read the Rules (for real)
- Pure Roleplay is built around immersion. Staying in character during scenes matters.
- Know the basics: Metagaming, Powergaming, RDM, VDM, Value of Life, Fail RP.
- If you’re unsure in a moment, choose the option that creates the best scene instead of the biggest win.
Step 3 — Apply (Whitelist)
- Fill out the application with honest, detailed answers.
- Quality answers = quality RP. We want your character’s vibe, goals, and how you’ll create scenes.
- Once submitted, staff review the newest submission (don’t spam it).
Step 4 — Connect & Queue
- Use the website Join Queue button to connect through FiveM.
- Alternatively in FiveM: press F8 and use the connect command shown on the site.
- If you can’t connect, restart FiveM and ensure you’re not running weird client-side mods.
First Day Tips
- Start small: introduce yourself, find a legal job, meet people, and build relationships.
- Don’t rush crime. Good criminals have motives and build tension through RP first.
- Avoid forcing interactions—let scenes naturally grow and give others room to play.
